Nelson Burgos is our Director of Orthotics and Prosthetics Department. Being one of few Certified Prosthetist and Certified Orthotist in Puerto Rico, he has a proven track record of success and passion for serving his patients since 2001.

His experience before joining Clinical Medical Services in 2014, extends from being an auditor of O&P for different Health Plans such as Mapfre and Humana, serving as a subject matter expert at the Board of Certification/Accreditation, International (BOC), and founder of a Prosthetic Company acquired by CMS in 2014.

Nelson developed himself within CMS throughout the years. As a trusted source, he has been part of the Leadership Team assuming different tasks such as Business Strategies, Contracting with Health Plan, Revenue Cycle, Internal areas of development, Health Plan Advisor, Medical Groups Advisor and emergency responder.

Nelson is part of the CMS Team that provides healthcare services with quality care for its patients, while maintaining financial viability in a reliable environment.
